To tell a story unlike any other, we need a visual identity no other university can claim.

Black and gold have long defined us, but these colors take on new life and energy when paired with Thunderhouse Pro—the UNCOMMON brand’s signature letterpress-style font. Variable font sizes and nontraditional line breaks bring movement to headlines and titles, while an ink roll graphic treatment can bring additional texture. Add in saturated, colorful imagery and the result is a distinct, graphic novel aesthetic that leans into our notorious creativity and is perfect for speaking to prospective students.

Meanwhile, our other two university brand font families — Univers and Garamond — offer a simpler alternative to the boldness of Thunderhouse Pro. Vibrant gold headlines with plenty of white space capture the crisp, clean environment of our world-class health system.
