Introduction
We have core principles and resources that guide the creation of all collateral materials. Our collateral templates are tools, serving as a foundation for creating marketing collateral.
In conjunction with the guidelines, we can create materials that are both unique and memorable. Unified through a consistent color palette, graphics library and grid structure, our marketing materials can come to life in a variety of ways to maintain a fresh look and feel that is readily recognized as Children’s Hospital of Richmond at VCU.
Flyer, 8.5″ x 11″
Flyers tend to be content-heavy pieces with a variety of needs. Flyers can be all text or a mix of text and imagery. In either situation, use typographic hierarchy and graphic elements to make content as engaging and digestible as possible. Flyers can be one- or two-sided.
Brochure, 5.5″ x 8.5"
Less is more on the covers of brochures. Consider how contact information and other call-to-action items can be staged consistently on the back of a brochure—the back cover is a less crowded and familiar location for this kind of information. Inside spreads should never use more than two support colors within the typography.
