The VCU spirit mark, or “shield”, is an athletics visual identity element that may be used to promote school spirit in certain non-academic settings and situations.

Usage is restricted to retail sales, events/initiatives that promote school spirit and extracurricular activities/programs that are contextually and strategically tied to sports or athletics.

The spirit mark must always have the registered trademark symbol.
